70% of all properties are now over-assessed. Odds are that yours or your client’s property taxes are too high.

My clients have been coming to me for a couple of years asking for help in appealing their property taxes.

That’s why I’m excited about a service that can benefit you and your clients. I have partnered with an established and successful property tax consulting group—LandTax Georgia— and have the resources to advocate for you and your clients to lower property taxes. LandTax Georgia has an experienced team with the tools to properly evaluate your home’s value and forcefully argue for a reduction in your property taxes.

The deadline to file the Real Estate Property Tax Return is April 1, 2011. Do not miss the opportunity to reduce your property taxes! Either submit the appeal yourself or hire us for no-hassle results.

What Does It Cost?

We have a one-time fee ($150 or $250 for residential properties; $295 or $395 for commercial properties) and then share a percentage of the tax savings for the first year. The fee pays for everything, including valuating the property, preparing all the forms, documents and paperwork, filing the appeal, attending the hearing and negotiating with the county property assessor’s office.

Let’s Get Started!

It is best if the appeal is filed prior to the current deadline of April 1st. However, upcoming changes in the tax law may offer us a second chance. I will contact you once the changes have been announced in the event that you miss the April 1st deadline.

Visit LandTax Georgia online at www.LandTaxGeorgia.com or call us at 404-446-4190 for more information and to start your appeal. The sign-up is quick and easy.

As always, I’m still working as your favorite closing attorney at The Law Offices of Sam Maguire. Feel free to call my direct line anytime at 404-257-4261. I’d love to hear from you.

Best!
